Fabric Information - Vinyl

Care Instructions:
- Washing: Wipe clean with a damp cloth using mild soap and water. Avoid machine washing or submerging in water to prevent damage to the fabric’s structure.
- Drying: Air dry thoroughly after cleaning. Do not tumble dry or expose to direct heat sources.
- Ironing: Avoid ironing directly. If necessary, use a low heat setting and place a pressing cloth between the iron and the vinyl to prevent melting or damage.
- Storage: Store rolled or flat in a cool, dry place to prevent creases or cracks. Avoid folding to maintain the fabric's smooth surface.
Use Instructions:
- Durable and Waterproof Projects: Ideal for upholstery, bags, protective covers, and outdoor gear due to its robust, waterproof properties.
- Cutting: Use sharp scissors or a rotary cutter for clean edges. Vinyl can be tough to cut, so ensure your tools are in good condition.
- Sewing: Use a leather or heavy-duty needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) and a longer stitch length to prevent perforation. A Teflon or walking foot can help the fabric glide smoothly under the needle.
- Pre-Washing: Pre-washing is not necessary due to the fabric's non-porous nature.
These care and use instructions will help maintain the integrity and appearance of your vinyl fabric, ensuring it remains durable and functional for a wide range of applications.
